Ida Greene

Ida Bennett Greene, 95 of Chesterfield Co., died Sunday, February 11, 2007. She was the daughter of the late Emmett S. and Helen Cousins Bennett. She was the widow of Henry Lawrence Greene. She was a member of Friendship Club and Fellowship Baptist in Ettrick. She is survived by her nephew whom she resided with, Donald L. Butler, Sr. and wife June of Matoaca; sister, Evelyn B. Marks of Petersburg; numerous nieces and nephews; caretakers, Cricket Bryan, Jean Newcomb and Debbie Story for faithful service. Funeral service will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 14, 2007 at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. The family will receive friends at the home of the nephew. Interment will be in Blandford Cemetery Thursday February 15, at 10:00 AM. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com .
