Hilda J. Mcdonough

Hilda Jolley McDonough, 87, passed away on Wednesday, November 6, 2013. Born in Hopewell Va., she was the daughter of the late Everett T. and Hilda Johnson Jolley. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Patrick H. McDonough of 67 years and two brothers Alvin and Turner. Hilda is survived by her sister, Diane Jolley Brown of Hopewell. She is also survived by her son Patrick H. McDonough and his companion Patricia Lodge, grandson Hal McDonough, wife April and great grandchildren Riley and Jack; grandson Jon McDonough; son Stephen M. McDonough, wife Becky; grandchildren Andy and Cady. The family would like to acknowledge caregivers Betty Farley and Cookie White for many years of companionship and for the staff and management of Brighter Living for serving the family for so long. A private family memorial service will be held. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Shepherd's Place 244 E Broadway Ave, Hopewell, VA 23860.
