Henry “Jack” Muse Horsman, Jr. 87, of Chester, passed away on December 14, 2012. Born on October 11, 1925 in Ashburn, VA; he was the son of the late Henry Muse, Sr. and Sara Elizabeth Rose Horsman, and was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Lee Ann Elsea. He was a retired dairy farmer and also retired from Fairfax Co. Schools with 18 years of service in the ground services department. He also worked for Allied Fuelers at Dulles International Airport. Jack was a 62 year member of the Ashburn Sterling Masonic Lodge A.F.&A.M. and also served as the District Deputy Grand Master in 1979. He was also a 52 year member of the Chester Chapter #121 O.E.S. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Knott Horsman; two daughters, Diana Hayes and husband, Jim, and Betty Elsea; grandchildren, Jennifer Lynn and Crystal Marie Elsea, James Mason and Nicholas Ryan Hayes; great-grandchildren, Maria Chase, Joshuah Mason Elsea, Maddison Ann Fauber, Jasias David and Sophia McKenzie Elsea; numerous nieces and nephews; and his loving poodle “Ginger”. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Monday, December 17, 2012 with an Eastern Star Service to begin at 7:00 p.m. at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss and Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service. A graveside service with Masonic Rites will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at Chestnut Grove Cemetery in Herndon, VA, with the Rev. Alvin Frizzell, officiating.
