Harold Daniel Hamby

Harold Daniel Hamby, 67, of Hopewell, passed away on Monday, September 16, 2013. He was the son of the late Bill Hamby, Sr. and Mossie Drummonds Hamby. Harold served his country proudly in the U. S. Army. He was a meat manager for Ukrops and a member of the Hopewell Optimist Club for 30 thirty years where he served as past president. Mr. Hamby is survived by his wife, Beth Hamby; his children, Kim Clary, Tony Hamby, Stephanie Runnels and Stacy Rideout; grand-children, Colter, Camden, Logan, Davis and Brady; brothers, Paul Hamby and his wife, Judy and their daughter, Paula, Bill Hamby, Jr. and his wife, Charlotte and their children, Johnathan, and Lindsay. A memorial service with be held at 12:00 p.m on Thursday, September 19, 2013 at the Hopewell Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service with visitation one hour prior to the service. Following the memorial service there will be a time of food and fellowship at the Hopewell Optimist Club.
