Harold Keith Gilbert

Harold Keith Gilbert, 81, a resident of Chester, VA, passed away on Thursday, August 13, 2015. He was born on November 27, 1934 in the mountains of Lee County, VA. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harrisson and Marie Gilbert; and his brothers, Mack and Doug Gilbert. He is survived by his sons, Bryan Gilbert and wife Linda, Barry Gilbert and Gary Gilbert; a brother, Dale Gilbert; and five grandchildren. Harold was an Air Force Veteran serving proudly during the Korean War. He retired from Allied Chemical with over 35 years of service. A visitation will held at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home on Friday, August 21, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. 820 W. Broadway, Hopewell, VA 23860. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2015 1:00 P.M. at Bermuda Memorial Park 1901 Bermuda Hundred Road, Chester, VA 23831.
