Gregory David Geisz, 51, of Henrico, Virginia passed away on October 24, 2023. Gregory was born in Prince George, Virginia on April 11, 1972 to Henry W. Geisz and the late Brenda A. Geisz. He grew up in Prince George County and graduated from Prince George High School. Greg received an accounting degree from Virginia Tech, and after receiving his CPA designation, he received his Masters degrees from the University of Richmond and the University of Virginia. He worked as an accountant for many years in the Richmond area. Gregory is survived by his brother, Jeffrey W. Geisz and wife, Lisa; an aunt, Deborah G. Shelton and husband, Bill; his grandmother, Marion G. Beasley; one nephew, Stephen G. Geisz; a niece, Faith K. Geisz; several cousins; many wonderful friends and work associates, plus his adopted dog. Greg loved his dogs, Virginia Tech Football games, and many wonderful weekends of boating and seafood at his former home on the Piankatank River. Greg had a kind heart and loved to volunteer to work with the local SPCA. Greg will be deeply missed by family as well many close friends and work associates. The family will receive friends from 6:00to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the SPCA, 104 Pickwick Avenue, Colonial Heights, VA 23834. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com
