Grace L. Bride, 90, of Dinwiddie County passed away Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at Southside Regional Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late George J. & Mary Harris Lanier. She was preceded in death by her son, Richard “Ricky” Bride, brother, LeRoy J. Lanier and sister, Goldie E. Pecht. She was a lifelong member of Oak Grove United Methodist Church and retired from ALMC, Fort Lee with 32 years of service. She is survived by her daughter, Carol B. Morgan and husband, Jerry of Sutherland, her daughter-in-law, Martha W. Bride of Colonial Heights; son-in-law, Van Miller of Dinwiddie; grandchildren, Craig Bride and wife, Dawn of Colonial Heights, Karen Wilmoth and husband, Pete of Dinwiddie, Kim Bryant and husband, Jonathan of Colonial Heights, Chris Miller and wife, Jennifer of Dinwiddie and Stephanie Wright and husband, Chris of Enon; great-grandchildren, Danielle and Matthew Hoverstock, Jessica and Noah Bryant, Hunter and Carson Bride, Taylor and Lilly Miller and Landon Wright; nephew, Ronnie Pecht and wife, Carolyn; nieces, Janet Brockwell and Linda Hess and numerous family members and friends. The family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to the nurses and staff at Southside Regional Medical Center on 5 West, ICU and 5 East for your compassion and great care. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, June 21st at the Petersburg Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 am Saturday at Oak Grove United Methodist Church with The Reverend Donald O. Collins and The Reverend Louis A. Collins, III officiating.
