Gloria Jones King

Gloria Jones King, 83, a resident of North Chesterfield, VA, went to be with our Lord on Friday, October 23, 2026. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 52 years, Robert "Bobby" Edward King; her parents, Otha and Jessie Jones; and siblings, Graham Jones and Doris Collier.

Gloria is survived by her daughter, Kimberly King; granddaughter, Megan Turner (Zachariah); great-granddaughter, Ava; grandson, Luke King; son, Kevin King (Dean); granddaughter, Ashley Siegel; great-grandson, Tristan Siegel; as well as extended family and friends.

Gloria was a housewife, and a retired school secretary from Chesterfield County Schools. She enjoyed quilting and sewing, trips to the beach, and spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 2, 2026 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, in Chester, VA. The family will receive from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 1, 2026 at the funeral home.
