Glenda Llewellyn Baugher

Glenda Llewellyn Baugher, 92, of Hopewell, VA, passed away on May 20, 2025. Born in 1933, in Columbia, South Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Jasper and Laura Boles. In addition to her parents; she is also preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Henry Baugher, Jr.; and her son, William C. Baugher.

Glenda was a devoted member of Woodlawn Baptist Church, serving in various ministry roles throughout the years. She enjoyed gardening and sewing, and she delighted in caring for her family, especially her grandchildren.

Left to cherish Glenda's memory are her children, Robert E. Baugher (Cathy), Susan Warthan (Randy), Diana B. McBride (Ray), and Steven M. Baugher; as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

A funeral service for Glenda will be held on Friday, May 23, 2025, at 11:00 am, at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home, with interment to follow at Merchants Hope Memorial Gardens. A visitation will be held at the Hopewell Chapel, the evening prior, Thursday, May 22, 2025, from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm.
