Gladys Elizabeth Thomas

Gladys Elizabeth Thomas, 91, of Chesapeake, VA, passed away on Thursday, September 12, 2013. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Mary Wade Jennings and husband, James Robert Thomas. She is survived by her daughters, Patricia Smith and husband, Wayne, and Sandra T. Harrison and husband, Richard A. Harrison of Sutherland; grandsons, Robert H. Pell, Wayne D. Smith, Jr., and Charles Hardaway Bentley, II; and great-grandson, Colton Dale Smith. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, September 16, 2013 at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss and Son Funeral Home with Reverend Steve King officiating. There will be a visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Southlawn Memorial Park.
