Gladys Nussey

Gladys Allen Nussey passed away November 17, 2008. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 52 years, Joseph William Nussey. She is survived by her daughters, Barbara Jacobs and her husband, Lloyd of Charlottesville and Linda Crocker and her husband, Jack of Petersburg. Her spirit lives on in her four grandchildren, Cindy Shiel of Chesterfield, Amanda Ash and William Crocker of Virginia Beach, and Laura Crocker of Petersburg. Gladys lived in Colonial Heights for over 80 years and was a faithful member of Immanuel Baptist Church. She was a devoted wife, loving mother and doting grandmother. Her pleasures in life were traveling with William, spending time with her family, and sharing her flower garden with others. A memorial service celebrating her life will be held at 3:00 PM Thursday, November 20, at the Petersburg Home for Ladies. The family will receive friends following the memorial service.
