Gladys Taylor Harrison

Gladys T. Harrison 79, of Prince George, passed away on Thursday, October 25, 2012. She was the daughter of the late Tallie Owen and Peachie Walton Taylor. Gladys was a loving caregiver for many of her family and friends for numerous years. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ottoway D. Harrison Sr.; and eight brothers and sisters. Gladys is survived by her children, Trudy Harrison Ham and her husband William “Bill”, Ottoway D. Harrison Jr., Becky Toombs and her husband Harrison, Barry Harrison and his wife Denise; grandchildren, Chris Harrison, Andy Toombs, Amy Runge, Jessica Hopkins, Bonnie Ham, Brittney Harrison, Travis Toombs, Kristy Jo Harrison; great-grandchildren, Ryland and Eli Runge; and numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends. The family will receive friends from 6pm to 8pm on Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss and Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service. A service will be held 11am on Wednesday, October 31, 2012 in the chapel. Interment to follow at Newville United Methodist Church Cemetery.
