Gerald Eugene Steadman

Gerald Eugene Steadman, 64, of Hopewell passed away on Sunday, February 23, 2014. He was the son of the late Albert M. Steadman and Ruth Miller Steadman. He was preceded in death by his sister, Margaret Moore and brother, William A. Steadman, Sr. Gerald was employed by Petersburg Builders Supply for many years. Mr. Steadman is survived by his brothers, Carl Steadman and his wife, Sandy, Mack Steadman and his wife, Betty, Fred Miller and his wife, Alice; sister, Sally Lipford; longtime friend, Sue; numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends. Family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at the home of Donna and Jose, 3305 Courthouse Road, Hopewell, Virginia. All services will be private.
