Georgia Zikes England, 80, of Prince George, passed away on Monday, September 19, 2011. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ernest R. and Anna Brice Zikes; and her husband, Edwin â??Smittyâ? England. Georgia was a stay-at-home mom, dedicated to her God, Family, and Church. She was a former 4-H leader, cub scout leader, and Sunday school teacher. As a devoted member of the Church of the Sacred Heart, she was a former Minister of Communion, served on the Arts and Environment Committee, and was active with the W.O.W. Group. She is survived by her daughters, Ann Marie Hess (Morgan) of Blackshear, GA, Eileen Mozucha of Prince George, VA, Janet Harrison (Henry) of Prince George, VA, and Linda Jacob (George) of Prince George, VA; her son, Michael England(Stephanie) of Prince George, VA; ten grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a brother, Ernest R. Zikes Jr. of Prince George, VA. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 22, 2011 at the Church of the Sacred Heart. A Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 7:00 p.m. following the visitation, with Father Jay Wagner III and Father Jim Gallagher officiating. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to either the Church of the Sacred Heart, or to the Prince George Emergency Crew. Condolences may be registered online at www.jtmorriss.com .
