George Daniel â??Dannyâ? Hobbs, 49, of Chester passed away on Saturday, December 26, 2009. He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Wolfe Hobbs. Danny is survived by his wife, Judy R. Hobbs; children, Daniel Clay Hobbs and Amanda Lee Hobbs; father, George H. Hobbs and wife, Myrna; brother, Gerald H. Hobbs and wife, Lisa; niece, Emily Hobbs and a nephew, Joshua Hobbs. The family will receive friends at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service on Monday, December 28, 2009 from 6 to 8pm. A funeral service will be held at 11 am on Tuesday, December 29, 2009 at St. Markâ??s United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Southlawn Memorial Park.
