George Eric Fulcher

George Eric Fulcher, 80, passed away on December 12, 2025. A Hopewell native, he was born to the late George Kennon and Clara Sprinkle Fulcher. In addition to his parents; he is preceded in death by his wife, Jeanette Minor Fulcher; brother, Gene Melvin Fulcher; and sister, Patricia Fulcher Haff.

George was a 1964 graduate of Hopewell High School and earned his Bachelor's Degree at VCU in 1971. He was heavily involved in the Hopewell community and could be found at the VFW, of which he was an auxiliary member since 2009. George loved to travel and especially enjoyed fishing, boating, and spending time at Sunny Meadows.

Left to cherish George's memory are his children, Lisa Reagle (Charlie), Melissa Avery (Bucky), and Jacquelin Scrimshaw (Nick); and grandchildren, Sydney Reagle, Kennon Avery, Chloe and Silas Scrimshaw.

A visitation for George will be held at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home, on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm.
