Florence Collins Naulty

Florence C. Naulty, 82, passed away at her home on October 3rd, 2013. She was born April 25th, 1931. Florence retired from U.S. Government Civil Service in 1988 after 35 years of service. On November 10th, 1951, she was united in marriage to Edward J. Naulty, Jr., who preceded her in death May 9th, 2007. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by one son, Martin. Florence is survived by her oldest son, Edward Joseph Naulty, III and his wife, Suzanne; her daughter, Joyce and her husband, Peter Heine; her youngest son, Mike Naulty; sister, Cathern Nagy; beloved grandmother of four grandchildren, Marti, Heather, Haley, and Nick; two great-grandchildren, Lexi and Kinsley; two step-grandchildren, Kirk and Kyle Heine; nieces, Karen Oprysko, Debbie Gibson, Robin Naulty Holland and Katy Wood; nephews, Jack O’Drain, Robert Naulty, Paul Nagy, Bill and Steve Ushler; and numerous other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 9:00 pm on Thursday, October 10, 2013 at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted at 12:00 pm on Friday, October 11, 2013 at the funeral home. Interment will follow in City Point National Cemetery, Hopewell, VA.
