Faith Longfield

Faith E. Longfield, 74, of Prince George, Virginia, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Tuesday, February 28, 2012 after her courageous battle with cancer. She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Eugene M. Longfield Jr.; daughter, Monica F. Dragone of Rocky Hill, CT; five step-children, Eugene E. Longfield of Palm City, FL, Lisa A. Clark of Holyoke, MA, Kenneth B. Longfield of Milford, CT, Leslie J. Robinson of Miami Beach, FL, and Gregory A. Longfield of Buzzards Bay, MA; brother, John Suyes of Hopewell, VA; sisters, Hannah Cralle of Ashland, VA, and Veta Creggar of Prince George, VA; five step-grandchildren, Alexander Clark, Arianna Clark, Aubrey Clark, Mace Longfield, and Emma Longfield; and several special nieces and nephews. Faith worked 31 years for the United States Air Force as a civilian employee and Air Reserve Technician. She retired from the Air Force at Westover AFB, MA as a SMSgt with 22 years of service in 1997. She enjoyed worldwide travel with the Air Force. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Ruth Suyes. Faith was a life-long member of Sycamore Methodist Church in Prince George, VA. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 1, 2012 at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 2, 2012 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Merchants Hope Memorial Gardens.
