Emma Cook

Emma Joyce Cook, 78 of Hopewell died Tuesday, October 23, 2007 in John Randolph Medical Center. She was born in Harrisonburg, VA and had been a resident of Hopewell since 1953. Mrs. Cook was a member of Hopewell Church of the Brethren. She is survived by her husband, David Weaver Cook of Hopewell, a daughter, Carolyn C. Seacrest of Harrisonburg, three grandchildren, four great grandchildren, a sister, Catherine Balker of Harrisonburg, and two brothers, Libert Dorman and Richard â??Dickieâ? Dorman, both of Dumfries, VA. The family will receive friends Thursday, October 25, 2007 from 7:00 to 8:00 PM in the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. A funeral service will be held Friday, October 26, 2007 at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Wayne Pennington of the Hopewell Church of the Brethren officiating.
