Elsie Watson Beck

Elsie Watson Beck, 105, of Prince George, spent her last five years with her son, Stanley C. Beck, Jr. and his wife, Violet in New Kent, VA. She went home to be with the lord on Monday, May 13, 2013. Mrs. Beck was preceded in death by her parents, James Harold and Mary Elizabeth Jones Watson; husband, Stanley Carlisle Beck, Sr.; two brothers; and five sisters. She leaves to cherish her memory, two sons, Stanley Carlisle Beck, Jr. and his wife Violet of New Kent, James Curtis Beck and his wife, Margaret of Colonial Heights; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; two step-grandchildren; eight step-great-grandchildren; and one special long time friend Judy Edwards. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm and from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Sunday, May 19, 2013 at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service. A funeral will be conducted at 11:00 am on Monday, May 20, 2013 at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Southlawn Memorial Park. Condolences will be registered at www.jtmorriss.com
