Elfriede Gwathney

Elfriede Rosa Gwathney, died Monday, June 21, 2004 in John Randolph Medical Center after a brief illness. She was born in Manheim, Germany on May 24, 1921. Mrs. Gwathney was preceded in death by her parents, Otto and Freda Feverpeil, and her husband, M/Sgt US Army, retired Walter B. Gwathney. She is survived by two devoted friends, Zona Hare and Josephine Johnson of Hopewell . A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, July 15, 2004 in Arlington National Cemetery. The arrangements are being handled by the Hopewell Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home.
