Elaine L. Willett

Elaine L. Willett, 89, of Prince George, VA formerly of Hopewell, passed away on June 15, 2015 at her son’s home. Born in Wake County, NC she was the daughter of the late Baxter Durham Lynn and Swannie Pool Strickland; and was also preceded in death by her husband, Roy Wilson Willett; and one sister, Bobbie Lou Jacobs. Mrs. Willett enjoyed bowling and played in numerous leagues for several years. She had worked in the cafeteria at Hopewell High School for many years. She is survived by her son, Kenny Willett and wife, Shirley; a granddaughter, Pamela Saks and husband, Michael; one great-granddaughter, Haley Saks; and one great-grandson, A.J. Saks. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday in Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George, VA with the Rev. Steve King, officiating.
