Edward Ray “Jake” Smith, 63, of Prince George, passed away on Saturday, January 2, 2016. Jake was a proud Veteran of the United States Army. He retired last year after many years with Defense Supply Center of Richmond where he was known by his fellow colleagues as “Smitty”. He is survived by his wife, Kathleen Smith; children, Jason Smith (Terence Sullivan), Jessica Smith (Jeff Hill), and Jake Smith; siblings, Charles Smith, David Smith, and Vaughan Smith. A private memorial service will be conducted at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be donated to the Prince George Animal Shelter, 8391 County Dr. Disputanta, VA 23842.
