Edna Louise Tedder

Edna "Louise" Tedder, 84, of Richmond, VA went home to be with the Lord on January 18, 2026.

Louise was born on March 3, 1941 to the late Jesse and Pauline Bizzell in Johnston County, NC. She was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, neighbor, and friend. Louise served the Lord and preached his Word to all those around. She was known for her humor, kindness, love, faith, and moxie. Louise is preceded in death by her husband, Paul Tedder; and son, Larry Tedder. She is survived by her daughters, Paula Morgan and Shelia West; grandchildren, Amy, David, Bryan, and Danielle; 13 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. A funeral service will be held at 12:00pm on Thursday, January 29, 2026, at the J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home - Chester Chapel. The family will accept friends one hour prior to the service, at 11:00am. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Lower Cape Fear LifeCare at lifecare.org/donate.
