Edith M. Sheffield

Edith "Ducky" M. Sheffield, 92, of Petersburg, VA, passed away on Saturday, May 24, 2025. Born in Petersburg, VA, she was the daughter of the late William and Alma Moody; and she was also preceded in death by her loving husband, Billy G. Sheffield; and her sister, Mary Annette Moody Atkins. Ducky was a member of St. Mark's United Methodist Church in Petersburg, VA. She is survived by her son, William Scott Sheffield; and one sister, Martha Swain. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at Blandford Cemetery, Petersburg, VA. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., on Friday, May 30, 2025, at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home.
