Dulcia "Dottie" Watson Boyette

Dottie Watson Boyette, 72, of Chester, VA, passed away on Monday, February 10, 2025. Born in Prince George, VA, she was the daughter of the late Millard G. Watson, Sr. and Julia Carey Watson; and was also preceded in death by her loving husband, David Carl Boyette. She is survived by her two sons, Brian Boyette (Alicia) and Timothy Boyette (Andrea); grandchildren, Brian Burkey (Julie), Kayla Boyette, Noah Boyette, Austin McGhee, Hunter McGhee, and Dustin Evans (Amanda); great-grandchildren, Trevor, Layton, Mac, Joseph, and Cannon; and one sister, Patsy Mullenix. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m., on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home, with visitation to follow until 6:00 p.m. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Affinity Hospice in memory of Dottie Boyette.
