Douglas Wayne Eubank

Douglas Wayne Eubank, 83, of South Prince George, Virginia, passed away on Wednesday, June 18, 2025.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Agnes Eubank; one brother; and two sisters.

Doug enjoyed piddling in his garage, especially spending time fixing lawn mowers and other small engines. He had a love and affinity for all animals, particularly ducks and cats. He was a member at Immanuel Baptist Church, where he volunteered as a church greeter and enjoyed welcoming people in with his dry wit. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Doug is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Carol Eubank; children, Shelli Eubank Brookfield (James) and Eric Wayne Eubank (Keri); grandchildren, Samuel R. Busby, Janice N. Busby, Anabel E. Eubank, Cora M. Eubank, and James T. Brookfield; brothers, Bobby Eubank and Brantley Eubank (Barbara); and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM, at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held the following day, Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at 2:00 PM, in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow the service at Southlawn Memorial Park.
