Doris Winkler Foard Peterson, 87, of Chester, VA and formerly of Fullerton and Parkville, MD passed away on Thursday, May 21, 2015. She is preceded in death by husbands Robert M Foard and Harry R Peterson; parents, Henry F Winkler Sr and Mary Sue Winkler; and brothers, Henry F Winkler, Jr, Eugene Winkler and Gerald Winkler, Sr. She is survived by her beloved daughter, Linda Lewis; sister, Shirley Appleton; niece, Susan Quillen; and nephews, Randall and Scott Appleton and Gerald Winkler Jr. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at the funeral home.
