Dori Ellen Weishaar

Dori Ellen Weishaar, born April 24, 1967, was called to join our ancestors on January 27, 2026 at the age of 58. She made her final journey peacefully, surrounded by love, and in the comfort of her own home.

Dori was the heartbeat of her family. A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, she lived for the ones she loved. Raised in Iowa, she eventually found her home in Virginia, where she spent the majority of her adult life in service to those that needed it most. A caregiver by nature, she was the kind of person who showed up when no one else did. She was strong, beautiful, and possessed a wisdom that she shared freely with everyone she met.

Dori is survived by her wife, Ellen Marston; son, Robert Moore (Danielle); daughters, Amanda Weishaar and fiancé, David, and Jessica Weishaar and fiancé, Shawn.

Dori's light shines through her grandsons; Colton, Lucas, and Sylar, who she loved to no end. She also leaves behind her beloved sisters, Lisa and Stacy, along with a wide circle of extended family and dear friends that will miss her deeply.

A celebration of life will be held at 2pm on April 11, 2026 at New Life Metropolitan Church, 1000 Sunset Dr, Norfolk, VA 23503.

The family is being served by the Dinwiddie Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home.
