Donald Milos Wells, Jr.

Donald Milos Wells, Jr., passionately known as "Donnie" passed away unexpectedly at the age of 52, on October 8, 2025, at Southside Regional Hospital in Petersburg, VA. He was born February 26, 1973. in Petersburg, VA. to Donald Milos Wells, Sr. and Brenda Grinstead Wells. He's preceded to death by his grandparents, James H. Grinstead and Colleen J. Grinstead and Ira F. Wells and Georgia R. Wells; one aunt, Ira Francis Harrison; and loyal friend, Joey. Donnie is a graduate of the class of 1992 from Colonial Heights High School. He also ran track with the "Rainbow Games" for the blind. Donnie wrestled and helped with the football team throughout his high school years.

After graduating he moved to Arkansas, where he worked at "ToysRUs" assembling bicycles. He moved to Daytona Beach, FL, in 1997 and resided there for 7 years enjoying the beautiful oceanfront views. While living in Daytona, he earned "Telemarketer of the Year" while employed for Grand Seas Resort. Donnie enjoyed good times with friends and made exciting memories such as skydiving and experiencing his infatuation with NASCAR racing. He was a die heart "Dale Earnhardt, Sr." fan.

Donnie moved back to Dinwiddie, VA, in 2004 to be with his family. He enjoyed riding with his dad in the 18-wheeler, where he went to different states, eating at different places, enjoying the jokes and laughter between him and his father. Donnie leaves to cherish his loving memories, his parents, Donald and Brenda Wells; beloved sister, Tracy Brown; his two nieces, Ashley Brown (Patrick) and Aaliyah Brown; his one nephew, Khalil Brown; and devoted brother-in-law, Keith Brown; a host of aunts, cousins, and one uncle; and his loyal friends, Butch, Carlos, Kerry, Mark, Melissa, and Tim.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 11, 2025, from 3:00 p.m to 5:00 p.m., at the Dinwiddie Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 13, 2025, at 2:00 p.m., at Southlawn Memorial Park.
