Dolores P. Browder

Dolores P. Browder, of Spring Grove, VA, passed away on May 14, 2025. Born in Waycross, Georgia, on January 12, 1943, she was the daughter of the late William Palmer, Jr. and Doris Palmer. In addition to her parents, Dolores is also predeceased by a brother, William Palmer III.

Dolores was known for her devotion to her family. She was a loving wife to her husband, Bernard A. Browder, Sr., for over 57 years, and her time was joyously spent caring for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Dolores was also a proud member of Falling Creek Baptist Church.

Left to cherish Dolores' memory are her husband, Bernard Browder, Sr.; her sons, Bernie Browder, Jr. and wife, Teresa and Brad Browder; her grandchildren, Josh Browder and wife, Heather, Grace Browder, Faith Browder, Caleb Browder, Austin Thomas, Caroline Thomas, Landon Browder, and KayLynn Browder; and her great-grandchildren, Jackson, Ellie, Wesley, and Avaleigh.

A funeral service for Dolores will be held on Monday, May 19, 2025, at 11:00 am, at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. The family will accept friends one hour prior to the service, at 10:00 am. Interment will follow the service at Southlawn Memorial Park.
