In Loving Memory of Dianna Lee Bennett

Dianna Lee Bennett of Spring Grove, Virginia, was born on September 11, 1959, in Hopewell, Virginia. She passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on Saturday, August 8, 2026, following a long illness.

Dianna will be remembered most for her warm heart, her strong spirit, and the deep love she had for her family. She had a natural kindness that made others feel welcome and cared for, and she was always willing to offer help, comfort, or a listening ear whenever it was needed. Her presence brought light and strength to those around her, and her laughter and compassion will be deeply missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Shirley Bennett; her husband, Edward "Eddie" Bennett; her brothers, Eugene Sober, Jr. (Robin) and Steven Bennett (Delinda); her son, Micheal Mills; and her daughter, Cynthia Mills.

She is survived by her brothers, David Bennett (Shelia) of Prince George, Virginia, and Mark Bennett, of Mechanicsville, Virginia; her sister, Deborah Adams, of Enon, Virginia; her son, Thomas Mills, of Hopewell, Virginia; her beloved grandson, Tristan Sartor, of Spring Grove; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members who loved her dearly.

Throughout her life, Dianna faced many trials and tribulations, yet she met each one with courage and determination. She was a fighter in every sense of the word, never giving up and always pushing forward with strength and grace until the Lord called her home.

In her final months, Dianna found great joy in spending time with her siblings, traveling together to various beaches. Those moments brought her peace and happiness, and she cherished every memory made along the way. Her family will forever hold those times close to their hearts.

Dianna's life was defined by love-love for her family, her friends, and the simple moments that meant the most. She will be remembered for her generosity, her resilience, and the way she cared for others without hesitation.

She will be laid to rest beside her dear husband, Eddie, at Appomattox Cemetery on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. The family is being served by the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home.
