Debra Walker Bottoms

Debra Walker Bottoms, 70, of Alberta, VA passed away on Tuesday, May 5, 2026 from a long time illness. Mrs. Bottoms was preceded in death by her mother, Frances Stevenson; and her sister, Darlene Walker. 

Debra attended Hopewell High School and was a member of the graduating class of 1974. Debra was a long time member of of the American Legion Auxillary Post 146 and a member of the Hopewell Moose Lodge. She leaves behind her husband of 17 years, Terry Bottoms. With a heavy heart, she also leaves behind her father, Alex Walker (Pam); children, William Lawson (Chana) and Wade Lawson (Lisa); two sisters, Donna Sodano and Robin Anthony; brother, Richard Avery (Kimmie); grandchildren, Emily, Alexa, Madison, Kayleigh, Kaelee, and Nick. 

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 13, 2026 at the Dinwiddie Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
