Deborah Hart Bridgforth, 70, of Dinwiddie, Virginia, passed peacefully on August 6, 2025. Born on January 18, 1955, she was the daughter of late W. Louis and Myrtle Hart Bridgforth. She grew up in Farmville, Virginia, and attended Prince Edward Academy. She later worked in the dental healthcare field throughout her career.
She is survived by her loving daughters, Shanna Orr (Chris), of Amelia, VA, and Katrina Buyalos (Philip), of Newport News, VA; beloved grandchildren, Hunter Orr, Caitie Orr, and Juliana Buyalos; sister, Elaine Watkins (Ron); sister-in-law, Carol Bridgforth; nephews, John Bridgforth, Will Bridgforth, and Ronnie Watkins; a niece, Claudia Sisk (Scott); and many friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, W. Louis Bridgforth and Myrtle Hart Bridgforth; and brother, William Bridgforth, Jr.
Deborah enjoyed gardening, and volunteering with many charitable organizations; but was happiest when caring for her dogs. Deborah will be deeply missed but forever remembered in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
The family will receive visitors on Friday, August 22, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., with a memorial service immediately following at 3:00 p.m., at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home.
