David Michael Thompson

David Michael Thompson, 38, of Dinwiddie, passed away on Tuesday, February 4, 2014. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Jesse Travis; paternal grandparents, Herbert L. “Jake” and Vera Thompson; and numerous aunts and uncles. David was active with the Super Kids Ministry at New Jerusalem Church in Prince George. He is survived by his parents, Herbert L. “Mickey”, III. and Gloria Travis Thompson; sister, Jennifer Lenz and her husband, Brad; three nieces, Madison, Mallory, and Maryn Lenz; grandmother, Gisela Travis; and numerous other extended family and friends. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm on Thursday, February 6, 2014 at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted at 2 pm on Friday, February 7, 2014 at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Bermuda Memorial Park.
