David Benjamin Tardy

David Benjamin Tardy, 75, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by the love from his wife and his two beloved dogs on Sunday, May 11, 2025. He was born to the late Louis Walter and Arlene Bubar Tardy in Presque Isle, Maine. He is also preceded in death by his brothers, Carol Lewis Tardy and Michael John Tardy. David retired from Verizon after over 25 faithful years of service. He loved to sail the Chesapeake Bay, but his main hobby was working on his home. Over the years, he added many improvements to it, like his greenhouse out back and his sunroom. David and Susan really enjoyed their trips to Europe to see the wider world. He loved his family very much, and they will miss him dearly. He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Susan LoCicero Tardy; his sons, Jason Travis Tardy and Jeffrey Alan Greer; and numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for memorial donations to be made in his name to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
