David Wayne Martin

David Wayne Martin, 51, of Prince George, VA passed away on October 20, 2014. Born in Petersburg, VA he was the son of the late Lloyd C. Sr., and Annette Crowder Martin; and was also preceded in death by his brother, Kenneth Martin. David was a United States Marine Veteran. He was the lead mechanic for Food Lion Distribution Center where he worked for 30 years. Mr. Martin is survived by his brother, Marty Martin and partner, Ron Argenbright of Buena Vista; one sister, Karen Davison and husband, Joel of South Chesterfield; and three nieces, Tara Cassidy of Lewistown, ME, Deanna Davison of Hyannis, MA and Kristen Davison of South Chesterfield. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday October 24, 2014 at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss and Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home with Pastor Jim Burton, officiating. Interment will follow in Blandford Cemetery, Petersburg, VA.
