Danny Pyles

Danny Pyles, 71, passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2026. He was born and raised in Hopewell, VA to the late Donald and Flora Blankenship Pyles. Danny was a simple man and a hippie at heart. He loved cars, motorcycles, and skulls. He played poker with the same group of buddies for most of his life. He leaves behind his longtime partner Donna Brown; his children, Christopher Pyles, Robert Pyles (Sunshine), Jonathan Brown (Alexis), Jessica Gatling, Ashley Brown, Brittney Zimmerman (James); his grandchildren, Zuri, Autumn, Kendriana, Keontae, Bella, Danielle, Emersyn; his brother, Eric Pyles (Crystal); his nephew and niece, Kirsten (Adam) and Tyler (Gabby); and his poker buddies, who have played with him for many, many years. The family invites you to a time of visitation on Sunday, May 31, 2026 from 2 PM to 4 PM at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home.
