Dan "Danny" Freeman Pulley, Jr., 63, of Dinwiddie, Virginia, passed away on August 21, 2024.
Danny was preceded in death by his father, Dan F. Pulley, Sr.; and mother, Emma B. Pulley.
He is survived by his son, Kurt "Austin" Pulley; brother, Garland "Page" Pulley (Cheryl); sister, Cheryl F. Pulley Winstead (Ronald); nephews, Dustyn E. Winstead (Laci), Tyler James Winstead, Steven Tanner Winstead, Travis Page Winstead, Brandon R. Alonzo, Stephen J. Main (Cierra); niece, Daniele Somers; and great-niece, Shelby Grace Winstead.
Danny grew up in Dinwiddie, Virginia, and graduated with the class of 1979 from Dinwiddie High School. He was a dedicated employee of Dupont for almost 30 years, where he retired from. Danny was a long-standing honorary member of Rowanta Hunt Club. He enjoyed being outdoors, hunting, fishing, and spending time with friends and family. He was an avid NASCAR fan. More than anything, he adored his son, Austin, and loved spending time going to games to watch him referee.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 31, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home.
The family requests that there are no flowers given for the service.
