Courtney Anne Flournoy

Courtney Anne Flournoy, 48, of Chesterfield, VA, passed away on Wednesday, January 28, 2026. Born in Hopewell, VA, she was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Frances and Ward Harvey; her paternal grandparents, Clyde T. Mason and Mildred Ann Sharp; and her husband, Jerry A. Sharp. Courtney had a zest for life and was a feisty and free-spirited woman. She had a love for the Washington Redskins, all animals that she encountered, and reading. Courtney had a deep love for her family and will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and daughter. She is survived by her husband of 11 years, Paul Flournoy; one daughter, Callyn Mason and husband, Dylan; two stepchildren, Paul Brookshire and Thomas Flournoy; her parents, Clyde and Sharon Mason; three granddaughters, Brinleigh, Anna, and Emersyn; two siblings, Rhenda Armetta and husband, Marcello, and Clint Mason; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving family and friends. All services will be private. The family is being served by the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to your local SPCA in memory of Courtney A. Flournoy.
