Chester Arthur Mccoig

Chester Arthur McCoig, 90, went home to be with the Lord on February 9, 2015. Born in Cosby, TN he was the son of the late Archibald and Abigail Fox McCoig; and was also preceded in death by his wife, Masako Tada McCoig. Mr. McCoig retired from the United States Army as a SFC having served in World War II, and the Korean and Vietnam Conflicts. He is survived by his two sons, Mike McCoig and wife, Janelle, and Rich McCoig and wife, Lisa; four grandchildren, Joshua McCoig, Ethan McCoig and wife, Hailey, Maggie and Max McCoig; and one brother, Odie McCoig. All services will be private. The family is being served by the Dinwiddie Chapel of J.T. Morriss and Son Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
