Charlie Green Lowery

Charlie G. Lowery, Sr., 85, of Dinwiddie, Virginia, passed away peacefully today, Thursday, February 26, 2026. Charlie was born in Halifax, Virginia and was raised in Dinwiddie, Virginia. Charlie worked at Allied Chemical for 29 years before achieving his life dream goal of self-employment. Charlie was creator and owner-operator of Lowery Tractor Sales from 1976 to 2024 where he made dreams come true. He fixed what was broken, laughed when it hurt, and made sure everyone was taken care of. Charlie's favorite activity was his '34 Ford which won best street rod on the East Coast in the early 2000's. Charlie was married to his loving and devoted wife, Margret (Ann) for 44 years. He is survived by his wife, Ann; daughter, Lisa Wamsley; sons, Charlie Lowery, Jr. (Wendy), and Tommy Norris (Debbie); grandchildren, Savannah Lowery (Lewis), Kyle Wamsley (Brooke), Travis Wamsley (Samantha), Mallory Norris, Amanda Edwards (Michial), Matt Bain (Tamara), and Brittany Robertson (Chris); great-grandchildren, Charlee Lowery, Ryland Brewer, Dani Brooke Wamsley, Cade Wamsley, Luke Edwards & Easton Edwards, Kaylin Robertson, and Kirsten & CJ Robertson. Visitation will be held Sunday, March 1, 2026 at 2:00 PM at J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home in Dinwiddie, Virginia, followed by the funeral service at 3:00 PM. Graveside service will be held at Southlawn Memorial Park, 1911 Birdsong Rd. S Prince George, VA, on Wednesday, March 4, 2026 at 10:00 AM. Pastor Jon Dundalow of Western Heights Baptist Church will be officiating.
