Charlie Anderson

Charlie Scott â??Andyâ? Anderson passed away peacefully on September 9th at Southside Regional Medical Center at age 91. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Newanna Oakley Anderson, his children, Charles Scott Anderson, Bettie Anderson David, Jerry Alan Anderson, Robert Wayne Anderson, seven grandchildren, sister, Bobby Jones and husband, Gaston of Blue Springs, MS, and sister-in-law, Margie Anderson of Tupelo, MS. He served in the United States Army for 26 years and enjoyed golf and gardening. He was a member of the Blandford United Methodist Church. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, September 12th at the Petersburg Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service with The Reverend Jacob Sahm officiating. Interment with full military honors will follow at Blandford Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home for one hour prior to the funeral service.
