Charles "Bobby" Robert Osborne

Charles “Bobby” Robert Osborne, 40, of Petersburg, passed away on November 7, 2013 at his residence. He was the son of the late Charles L. and Deborah Smithson Osborne. Bobby was a United States Army veteran, and had also worked for McGuire VA Medical Center and Southside Regional Medical Center as a registered nurse. He is survived by David Terry; daughters, Jordyn M. Osborne and Joscelyn M. Osborne; their mother, Kimberly D. Osborne; siblings, Charles E. Osborne, Sherry A. Travis and husband, Wayne and Abigail Weber and husband, Brian; four nieces, Madilyn and Daniella Osborne, Mia Travis, and Bella Weber; nephew, Kaden Weber; grandparents, Billy and Delores Smithson; devoted aunt, Barbara Hammond and husband, James; and numerous other loving family and friends. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 10, 2013 at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss and Son Funeral Home, with the Rev. Arthur Lands, officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be private. Contributions may be made at any BSV Bank in the Charles Osborne Fund.
