Charles E. Williams

Charles “Charlie” Edward Williams, 65, of Prince George died Monday, July 22, 2013 at Southside Regional Medical Center. He was preceded in death by his brother Tracy E. Williams and parents Leonard Reams and Maude Mayton Williams. He worked for Melton’s Auto Service and later owned and operated Charlie’s Automotive in Petersburg and Prince George. Charlie was a loving husband, father, and Papa Charlie. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Mary M. Williams; daughter, Pamela W. Crabtree and husband, Bryan; son, Marcus C. Williams; granddaughter, Samantha F. Crabtree; two brothers, Leonard R. Williams, Jr. and David E. Williams and wife, Alice; sister, Nancy W. Lamm and husband, Charlie; and numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held 11:30 am Friday, July 26, 2013 at Smith’s Grove Cemetery in Dinwiddie, Virginia. The family will receive friends from 7:00 pm – 8:30 PM Thursday at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com .
