Charles Ervin Curtis

Charles Curtis born February 3, 1958, passed away on Wednesday August 19, 2015. His is survived by his daughters, Katrina Curtis, Monica Curtis, Kimberly Curtis, Maranda Bell and her husband, Dustin Bell; grandchildren Tyler and Lyla; siblings and their families, Christopher Curtis, Clifford Curtis, Cheryl Brown, Carleen Smith, and Chawn Curtis. He was preceded in death by his parents Bert and Jeanne Curtis. He was a member of Saint James Catholic Church in Hopewell, VA for 33 years. In 2013 he was ordained as a deacon and proudly served the Lord through his work. He lived what he believed through the ministries of Tri-Cities Workcamp and Cursillo. While he begins his eternal life in heaven, the mark he left on the lives he touched continues to live on daily.The family will receive friends from 6pm to 8pm on Monday August 24, 2015 at Saint James Catholic Church 510 W. Poythress Street Hopewell VA, 23860 with a Rosary Service to begin at 6pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10am on Tuesday August 25, 2015 at Saint James with Interment to follow in Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
