Carrie Elizabeth Allen

Carrie Elizabeth Allen, 83 of Hopewell, passed away on Wednesday July 19, 2017. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Walker Tiller, Sr. and Mary Tyson Tiller; as well as six brothers and sisters. She is survived by her sons, James Cochran and wife Kim, Julius Cochran; grandchildren, Carrie Cochran, Lauren Cochran, Caleb Cochran, Leah Cochran; and numerous extended family and friends. Mrs. Allen was a longtime member of Woodlawn Baptist Church in Hopewell. She retired after many years of service from J.C. Penney Co. Inc. She was an adorable, loving mother and grandmother who loved spending time with her family. The family will receive friends from 6pm to 8pm on Friday July 21, 2017 at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss and Son Funeral Home Hopewell Chapel. A graveside service will be held at 10am on Saturday July 22, 2017 at Merchants Hope Memorial Gardens 11302 Merchants Hope Rd. Hopewell, VA 23860.
