Carol Wagner

Carol Townsend Wong Wagner, 65, of Chesterfield, VA passed away December 12, 2009. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mildred Townsend and father, Willie B. Townsend. Carol was prominent in the real estate and building industries. She is survived by her devoted husband, Walter Wagner; stepdaughter, Bethany Wagner of Canal Fulton, OH; stepmother, Nancy Townsend of Charlottesville, VA; mother in law, Gertrude Wagner of Overland Park, KS; five sisters, Nancy Kay Council of Quincy, FL; Jill Sliker of Moodus, CT; Dale Patterson of Charlottesville, VA; Page T. Savin of Richmond, VA; Lynn T. Govoruhk of Charlottesville, VA; brother, Jay Townsend of Charlottesville, VA; brother-in-law, Kenneth Wagner and wife Joan of Overland Park, KS; sisters-in-law, Donna Goss of Slippery Rock, PA and Gail Ramsey of Carlisle, PA; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the Chester chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 16, 2009 from 6 to 8 p.m. A celebration of her life will follow on Thursday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel.
