Mr. Carl Martin Filak, age 92, of Chester, VA, died on Tuesday, December 8, 2009. A private ceremony will be held at a later date. The family requests that memorial contributions are made on his behalf to the St. Jude Childrenâ??s Research Hospital at 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to the Richmond SPCA at 2519 Hermitage Road Richmond, VA 23220.
