Calvin V. Williamson

Calvin V. Williamson, 85, of Chester, VA, passed away on Sunday, October 4, 2026. He was preceded in death by his parents, J.R. Williamson and Frances Williamson; his wife of 58 years, Treely Allen Williamson; his daughter, Beth Williamson; his sisters, Dot Barfield and Elizabeth Pinkleton; and his brothers, Rudolph Williamson, Arnold Williamson, and Ray Williamson.

Calvin served in the Army and was retired. He loved standard-bred horse racing and watching sports on TV. He also loved listening to gospel music.

Calvin is survived by his children, David Williamson (Vicki) and Vernell Williamson; grandchildren, Megan Dix (Josh) and Matthew Williamson; brothers, Bernard Williamson (Phyllis) and Alfred Lee Williamson (Georgiana); and extended family members and friends.

The family extends a special thanks to the Crossroads of Bon Air and Suncrest Hospice.
